Providing a serious advantage over other overbed tables, the Drive Medical Bed Tables feature a pneumatic lifting mechanism that’s sure to please. Not dissimilar to an office chair, the pneumatic cylinder is filled with compressed gas, and when it’s released it immediately elevates the surface to your desired height. To set it back down, simply put pressure on the top while releasing pressure, and watch it get back to an original position.
The point of these tables is convenience. When you’re done using a table or if you’re at the end of a recovery, storing your table shouldn’t be an issue. Simply remove the table surface from the top for washing or storage, and wheel it away. This Overbed Table has four caster wheels allowing you to easily wheel the table and its frame into your desired storage location.
This is a side table that you can take anywhere. Simply separate the table from its frame and it can be picked up and moved into a closet, or packed into a car on vacation.
